My first ever LD    It was tough as I picked tech i'm not familiar with - but wanted to learn and have fun with. Hence WebGL and javascript. I had FUN.

World of Minimalism

This game has no gameplay.
The world is empty.
There is nothing to interact with.
There are no graphics except for the player character and a minimalistic interface.

It is up to you to turn this empty world into something.

It's basically YourWorldOfText meets minimalistic pixel art. Currently kind of buggy (you have to restart the client frequently), will make an updated version to squash some bugs later.

Nice idea VDZ. I toyed with a similar "user created game" idea but where the player supplies code.

I wanted to make something different to what I normally do. And I'm pretty happy with how it turned out! The game is designed to evoke a certain set of emotions and feelings.

My entry: Less is More?
Be very minimal: get rid of the color nonsense.
Make the coloured blocks disappear from the screen.
Each block has a different behavior: it's the beauty of diversity.
We are sure that Less is More?
