coding is now 25% done, and my placeholders will soon be replaced by the real thing. I really want to make this as disturbing as possible.

First 'blank' painting is almost done. The gameplay will be about noticing slight discrepancies in the paintings at certain times. Every failure will bring it closer to becoming an abomination. If I can't code it, plan B is recycling every asset into a badly acted adventure game, which is how most Lovecraft inspired movies are born anyways.

The main gameplay loop is done. Right now, the game is very playable(and fun!). At first, you have a certain time to memorize the painting/level. Then there's a flash of thunder, and something changed...

Can you find it? And how quickly?

The flashlight can also help you make the oddities a bit brighter.

All that's left is to do more paintings/levels(I already have 6 in progress), oddities(I have done 7 in about 15 minutes, so that won't be a problem), add a scoring system with (I hope) an online highscore table, a title screen and maybe a short cutscene.

Hello this is Pencerkoff

I just crapped myself looking at your artwork.  Is that a monster in the river or am I imagining it... which by the way is an awesome effect either way.
