i think that is all lookin good. the green looks like it has rim lighting where the others don't, so maybe a darker green shadow bottom right like the others would be good. i would darken the background behind the stones a little more.
animations make a game heaps more enjoyable so the more you can add in there the better.
i would shrink the whole window horizontally

Followed your tips, looking better indeed!
dark green, green stone, darker behind stones, shrinked the window I think it looks right.

Just like this, If I were to add a progression mode (levels, progress) Do you think a progrss bar would fit under the whole game grid (or even whole screen)? Or would one the size of the score rectangle (in width) be more fitting?

And putting the time over the game grid would be right too?

thanks again.

its looking good! i'd experiment a little with the progress bar (maybe try it on the side of the window too). i always feel that if you focus on communicating (ie. where will the player be able to see it best) the design will take care of it's self. i would try avoid obscuring the game play area.

Ive been quite busy for a while, but finally had time to get back to this!

Well, it didnt change much,I changed how the score functions so the current break score box changed to become a bit bigger and filled up.

Ive also added a progress bar,the time display would likely be right under the Best score.
I worked a lot on perfecting the game, but thats not visible, in terms of gameplay its pretty much done.

Well, now im trying to make a background similar to the one ive been using (not mine).
Is your computer fixed? im curious what you had in mind as mockups.

oh god, better get back to work... vacation made me lazy  Roll Eyes
I would say yours look a lot more professional than mine, but I did come a long a way (and the display changed a lot) so I guess ill stick around with what I got.

Although, its(slightly) annoying how, no matter how much effort I put, it always feel like it`s (my art) not ''proper game'' material. I guess the bigger slap in the face is how simple yours looks, yet it looks so much more like the real deal.

well, I was really close to being done (always those last % that cause struggles) So I really hope to have an update or a playable version soon! thanks a lot your support and help really pushed me  Tongue

looking forward to your updates mate.
i wouldn't worry about the polish at the moment, it will definitely improve the more you work at it.

the finishing is so annoying, much effort make little to no difference...
Well, I added time, the game main (oddly enough NEW) game mode is done.
5 mins to fill up the level bar, It goes back to 5 minutes after each levels and the next level score requirement is higher. (also more color appear)

Also, I changed the background by something make by me, although inspired by the previous one. In the level mode the background doesnt progressively change color, each level has a color (0-9) and it changes in an awesome explosive flashy transition... So flashy my gif recorder wont work on it  Sad

And theres a game over screen: The stat at the bottom cycles through all the bonus stats that are monitored.
Does it look fine? I kept the same style as in game..

Whats left is a Main menu (and sounds) I think ill make something really simple like Title and buttons like the continue & Break for the 2 game modes... Does feel like it would be bland but cant really think of anything.

i think they are looking great joh. the colours in the first one really pop and changing colours for each level is a great idea. very intuitive.
just a couple of suggestions and really they are just suggestions;
i would maybe try another treatment on the text (in the first one) because the blue edges tend to make it bleed into the background.
i would also make the transparent boxes where the text and buttons are just a little darker (especially in the final score screen). it looks a little washed out.

nothing much changed, I did make the transparent boxes darker, The blue bleeding seems to be unique to that color since its darker, and its not something that seems to be fixable...

Ive worked on the menu and much useless stuff: profile stats(Why?!), highscores (such a pain) and a guide.
quite a simple menu, the background is animated (like in game) and hue shifting. I also added sweet sparkles (that are now also in-game)
Also, I tried to make a ''title'' (hand drawn) and its aweful! any idea on how to improve that or at least make it smooth?

Facing the truth first hand! Game dev is never as smooth (and fast) as planned!

sorry for the delay mate. i've missed this post for some reason.
generally i work with a vector program to develop my splash screens. i always struggle with them. i generally pick a couple of fonts (dont go mad with a whole pile of fonts) and then muck about with colour and shape trying to get a bit of movement and explain the game a little. once i'm happy i export it to bitmap format. this is one i did for your game.

a wise man once told me that the play button is a bit like the money shot in porn. you gotta make it big and in their face! haha.
i dont think this suits your game though. you have an indie feel about your title screen that is not in mine.
if you wanna give the vector angle a go then you could use inkscape. it's free.
