Hello this is Pencerkoff back for first time since VGNG

Doorror v1.3 (11.34 MB)  (Official Competition Version: v1.2)

v1.3 has 2 new levels, including a boss in level 14.  Every level is playable from the High Scores menu, old save games should still work.

17 Doors found mysteriously open and shut etc.—excite terror



I haven't worked out exactly how doors will open mysteriously, but the object of each round is to kill the monster using light.  This will be puzzle game involving light switches and doors and maybe bear traps or lasers.

I got my engine going, now to make game part.  I think my game will have monsters that die in different ways.  The main puzzle will be knowing which doors to keep open/shut as well as which lights to have on.  Should have other items to work with for fun.

Commonplace quote has doors opening or closing without you maybe some doors won't stay shut or open randomly.  Depends on how that ruins the puzzle.

I need help with game name, last game I had sloth in title, and nobody told me this was animal until late.  Help please.

I like "Open and Shut".  My roommate said "Door Jam" but I not really know if that good or bad.  I was thinking "Doorror" like Door + Terror, but I do not think that works.

Might have a demo soon that's a simple puzzle game where you turn off all the lights.  It does not sound hard, but even I can't do it yet.  Working on that.

I have new demo that shows how the game works.  The interface is

left click: Use Door
right click: Open/Close Door
esc: exit

To win, simply turn off all the lights.  The main guy's animations aren't quite right yet so it may appear as though he came out of the wrong door, but other than that it should be good.  The game is very hard, I usually beat it after a few minutes, even though it's the same thing every time I play it.  Any feedback about errors or opinions are welcome.
