So, back in January I started working on this:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sukPQw83lLI

So yeah. It's finished now.

I don't own any of the music and neither do I have permission to use any of it, but hey, intellectual property is for losers and I doubt anyone would bother to go crazy at harmless nonprofit indie people about it. I'll replace it with something else if it's that big a deal.

Crediting the composers would be nice.

Moving between screens is awkward. If I'm holding a direction while transitioning, I need to release that key and press it again in the new screen.

Got stuck in a wall swim here

Edit: Got the red gem. The game's growing on me. Smiley

It might be a big deal, especially if any of the composers read your statement above and would like to get you in a pile trouble.

Just try to find any track where the composer lets you use it freely, and you got your job done. Or else, at least contact the composer(s) of the tracks and tell them of your use. At least the composer would get to see his work somewhere and you might even get a mention in case that composer has a page.

Small effort that I find quite worthy.

-game crashed several times
-music doesn't play at all for me
-I really like the floaty jump, I wish more games had floaty jumps
-game is really too slow, becomes boring
-the screen transitioning problem already mentioned is a common gamemaker or flash key management problem : you should check if keys are already being pressed when instancing a new room

I'm currently uploading a version where you can't get stuck in that wall.

You running Windows? That seems really bizarre if so. It runs fine at 60FPS for me? And thanks on the jump thing, I decided at the beginning that the controls had to feel really nice.
