Hello,

I have been making games in Game Maker but realized that I want to move on and I dont like it that much. I know many languages such as c++ and java and am excellent at blender. What engine is the best to use for 2d and 3d?

Thanks

Doesnt Blender have a built in game engine? If you are already really good with blender then maybe give that a shot.

What didn't you like about Game Maker, though?

If you are relatively competent with Java, I highly recommend using LibGDX.

I didn't like the layout of game maker and I thought there were too many technical limitations. For example I had many gittering sprites and my framerate was constantly dropping.
