I'm really looking forward to how this turns out. If this follows your mantra in the design forum post you made I can't wait to see how it turns out.

I like your art style a lot!  Smiley

There's something a little puzzling about showing up at the water cooler and proclaiming that you're too cool for water cooler buddies though, it makes us buddies wonder why you didn't just stay over at your desk and work quietly instead.

I'm into it. The art is noisy without being busy and it feels good too.

Personal and devious, nice Wink

Just... I'm starting to wonder about a pixel font designers' lobby behind the whole indie scene.

I definitely wanna see more of this-- Reminded me a bit of a short film from a friend:

I'm thinking, given the type of game you´re trying to achieve (or what I understand from it) that you shouldn't stop on story too much. With this I don't mean that the game shouldn't have a story, what I mean is that it should be more of a stream of consciousness of yours. Just... do whatever you want! And am sure that it´ll feel just fine.

Wow, some of these screens are art pieces on their own Kiss Maybe you should take care not to lose coherence in styles though, between the environments with realistic proportions and the quite Picasso-like characters

I definitely wanna see more of this-- Reminded me a bit of a short film from a friend:

You are quite right; thats the approach I'm heading now; like the opening and closing of a door that changes the room it leads to everytime it opens is a way I'm leading this soul.

if you meet up with your friend tell him that his works are the most refreshing works I have seen in a very long time and that I would pay to see more of his things. I want to see his glory - mannnnn so cool

can you describe gameplay at all?

Braingale Action game

Player customizes gun to create a combination of different parts that effect it. For example you can place a sniper scope on a rocket launcher. its sort of like the borderlands gun creation mechanic except you can control the parts that are added instead.

then weird pseudo philosophy is displayed with strange noises and blips and crazy music. Fantastic visuals and a array of loud noises. you will be like those because you like me

then a fight of a philospher; as man can become corrupted by sickness; so to can others with ideas'' people like graham have gotten a degree of game theory and as a result he has gotten the sickness of writing papers instead of making games. sick ideas are what this game is about radical feminism phobias schizophrenics.//

this repeats a few times each in a degree of oddness and bones

so its like soldat by a snobby artist

barch tells it

like it is

the piano humms from the vibrations of the soul. the universe does to all things

this is extended monochromy, a treat for the eyes

I am the illusion making; through a 2d plane I fool your eyes

Personal and devious, nice Wink

Just... I'm starting to wonder about a pixel font designers' lobby behind the whole indie scene.

the use of terminal fonts is very real

Really pretty. I'm intrigued.

hey jabberwock good to see an old face from gmg.

thankyou, I hope I can be a good example to you to not be afraid to do what you always wanted to create and expressed. to show imperfections to be human in creation.

I've been using a system of creating a massive texture of images cliffs and that then using the circle selection to copy and paste those smaller sections.

but I havent thought of using a system to keep textures the same in the characters. so thankyou for that idea of keeping the style similar

previous problem solved - overall feeling structure of the game done. just need tto work on the should be able to have a presentable demo for tigjam melbourne and release to tigsource soon after.

EDIT: I hope I dont sound like I'm trying to push you guys away; in due honestly I love everyone of you here. I get adrenaline rushes everytime I meet someone who knows what a sprite is; who would rather build towers of code then watch - is someone who i would call my brother.
