Guess this PC game from the mid 1990s that modeled the flow of water. The game was 2D side view with bidirectional scrolling. Each level was a bit bigger than one screen, so there was only maybe half a screen width to scroll into, and one screen height to scroll into.
The water was made of particles, something like one blue pixel per droplet. These would flow down the screen, splashing off each other, and splashing off any solid objects they hit. The water particles had momentum. They formed pools if caught in any cavities.
The solids were not tile/grid based, but was a relatively complex image, similar to the designs used on pinball machines, as far as I remember.
The objective was to move as many drops as possible to a target vessel, and you lost points for every droplet that didn't make it. Lose too many and you failed the level.
To influence the game, the player had an ability to disturb the movement. I can't remember if this was done by adding/subtracting solids from the screen, swishing the water, or by "tilting" the scene.

Old PC game, top-down 360° shooter, hotseat with at least 3 players. Shooting bug-like aliens across different levels, weapon shop between levels. I... vaguely recall a level that had highly explosive missile props, and human(oid?) enemies.
Maaan, this is old, but a quick flick over the other pages it didn't look like you'd found it. That sounds a lot like Threat Which is old, 3 player hot-set, top-down a 360 shooter, and very bug like alien enemies.. although some of the aliens stand on their feet. And yes, the between level shop is there. Great fun, especially 2-3 player, you team up, grab different, complimenting weapons, and take 'dem bosses out!

Hopefully a mod will fold this thread into the proper one.
The game you're thinking of must be Skool Daze, its sequel Back to Skool, or the remake of the original Klass of '99.

wetrix?
no. This was side view 2D. Wetrix is isometric and looks more like a puzzle game than a reflex game.

I've never known the name of this game, but i still remember the game itself more than a decade later so it must have made an impression at the time.
It was an original gameboy game, and you were a little guy who had to push blocks around at the bottom of the screen. I think you were doing this to get to the exit or create a specific shape. It was a platformer.
I really can't remember anything more about it, i've been Googling for a while now with no luck. I'm hoping someone here knows what the heck i'm talking about haha.

Reposting, if someone would know.
Lode Runner -clone, where you could play as two wizards (blue and red) and you had to collect different coloured keys to free people from their prisons. When released, they would walk around and wait, till you released everyone else. If you got killed, you would vanish, leaving only your robe and hat behind.
I remember the demo had few levels, and first one was in a castle. After releasing all prisoners, ladders appeared and you had to climb them before time would run out. Others were in jungles with teleporters and man-eating plants, laboratories with a spell that would create cloud bridge and a town in the sky, with boulders and switches.
Ah, got it? That's all I remember. EDIT: Game appeared on some magazines CD, containing demos and videos. Many CDs were released by genre, including Puzzle (Gubble 2, isometric Lode Runner and this game I am looking for.) Horror, Action (Quake) and Adventure (Monkey Island and Discworld)
