Hi and thanks for your interest in my game!  Gentleman

I'm trying to recreate the feel of games from the 80's and 90's. Please share your first two thoughts when you played 1-2 minutes of the game. The ball has received some gravity instead of the predetermined path from the original game.

Type: Arcade / Breakout
Control: mouse, left click and space

I have a couple suggestions.
Seeing the cursor is kinda distracting when you're playing, I suggest adding the css property "cursor: none;" on your canvas so that the cursor will disappear when you hover over the canvas. Also I noticed the paddle only reflected the balls direction or sent it diagonal if it hit the very edge of the paddle, you should make it so that you can control the angle of the ball bit more.

Good job though plays real snappy.

Oh and HTML5 for the win!

My first two thoughts when I played it:

1. The sound is lively and I like it
2. Crap this is fast, I suck

Although I like the sound, I bet if I played the game regularly that I'd want to turn it off (or at least the background music).

Also I agree with Praterade that the cursor was distracting me, so if you could disable it when hovering over the canvas that would help.

As for the speed of the ball, I think its pretty fast and that made it pretty hard for me. But that also made it more enjoyable for me, so you may want to keep it that way.

I liked the bonus level too where I could collect the coins.
