I'm guessing that's because his exclusivity agreement with Microsoft is for 6 months?

It's not so much a coding issue as they are working in XNA, the work to port the game wouldn't be too bad, they would be mainly contending with remapping the control scheme onto the keyboard and making sure that the code can run a multitude of machines. I think the real pain in the arse would be the Microsoft exclusivity contract and then going through the dubious process of getting it approved and up on steam.

Because 1440º is the sum of the interior angles of a decagon. You can't do that with a GC/Wii and GBAs, amirate?

Because when you see it, you'll turn 360 degrees and walk away.
Edit: Oh dang, Vin's link had this image in the comments.

Just out of curiousity and because I haven't really worked with low-level programming languages or hardware, it's been mainly game-related coding, but why would it take 6 months (according to Fish) to port his game to PC? Isn't all the low-level stuff separated from the game-related code? Couldn't he just reconfigure the buttons that are inputted? Is it because of XBox360-related stuff like achievements?
There's no such thing as a straight port. Unless you don't care about the quality. Hardware will always screw up on you. Then you've got to make it work on everyone's hardware. Then you've got to deal with everyone's different displays. And there's things like supporting weird PC gamepads and not pissing off lefties like me with a minimal amount of keyboard input and no config options. 6 months to not be a dick about it sounds right.

I remember how long it took me to make the PC version of Darksiders even accept any input. I don't want to go through something like that again.

a first release candidate of FEZ has been submitted to microsoft for testing on the 31st of december. if this version goes through, we then begin certification. we also got rated by PEGI, and got a PEGI 3 rating, the equivalent of an ESRB E for Everyone rating. we're almost there.

Longest awaited indie game, or longest set-up for an April Fool's joke? Only time will tell.

So, in addition to my Mac, I recently got a PS3 as well... still, I'm shit out of luck, right?
