Congratulations Phil; I bet you feel lighter than air right about now. Unfortunately I don't have an XBox, but if this gets released on PC I will be buying it. Like I said, I've been excited about this game since I first heard about it in 2007, that was quite a long time ago. My body is ready.

I just beat the game and it was good! It uses the perspective flipping mechanic pretty well, the puzzles are good, the atmosphere and polish are fantastic and the open-worldiness of it is really cool. Fez is worth more than the 10 bucks it costs. They won't repair it because it's past two years old. Even though it's a manufacturing defect they won't replace it because of warranty expiration. >_> The warranty for RRoDs is 3 years. If it's out of the 3 year warranty you can pay to have them repair it. |

Full repair or replacement on any product with a manufacturing fault for up to 7 years, no question and no warrantee cop outs. |

I have a feeling it'll get released on PC after Xbox exclusivity is up. The IGF build for judges/jurists was a PC build, after all, and the framework isn't exactly bad for porting.
Played a little last night. Opinions are much the same as build I played earlier: really bad intro (mechanically, not aesthetically; the intro is very visually and aurally pleasing). It's definitely a "designed for dumb competition judges/dumb convention passerbys" intro, with hardly any challenge. So full of itself and its gimmick.
But I know the game starts to get real great at around the 8-16 cube mark, so I'm not disappointed that much.
