Hi guys,

I've been developing this 3D physics-based game engine called Mekside for a while with some friends, and we're at the point where we can present an installable early dev-version of the game on Windows. We have a lot to ask for feedback of course, but the game is very basic yet, with only a sandbox/creative mode active and no tutorial released, so the first and foremost request for feedback we'd like to get is if it simply installs and runs OK on your computer Smiley

If you're interested, the teaser-trailer for the game is on YouTube: http://youtu.be/pBsY9pSKgKc and if you think it looks interesting, the current build of the game can be downloaded on the Download page here: http://mekside.com and please leave some feedback if it runs or if it does not run, and key parameters of your system if so.

We do know that you need a fairly recent graphics card, and at least with the latest drivers available. You also need at least 4 GB of RAM, and Windows XP SP3 or newer (Win7 is what we use ourselves for building). I've been testing with mainly Nvidia and Intel gfx, although ATI/AMD should work fine as long as the drivers are new.

When you start a new game, and it generates the level, there is no progress bar yet. It does take a while, but should not be more than half a minute or so. So please have some patience there. You can save the level you've created and started, by pressing Ctrl-S, so you can load it quicker the next time.
