[mëgaboy [M3]]

hi everyone !

we are two brothers (meto and me) both graphic designer and musician (he's more musician, and i am more graphic designer). we don't know how to program at all, but like lot of people we want make games and we have 1000 ideas for 1000 games !

we posted a message in the collaboration section for find someone for to make our first game with. and JohnnyDixels from 99 Up Games came to us. like an angel. with the secret of the alchemy for making game.

and here we are ! in da place !

so this is the devlog of our very first game (to my brother and me, not for johnny).

welcome.

the game is gonna be pretty simple, it's a mmorpg just like WOW, but with more stuff to do, more challenge, more fun... no i'm joking, it's just to make you more comfortable. ok, now that we are all relaxed after this suprising joke i'll continue on.

it's really gonna be a simple game. but i don't want to talk too much about it yet. i talked enough today.

i'll just put here some pictures we also previously put in the collaboration section to find a programmer.





so it's just the beginning, but johnny is really fast with all his spell. i'll give you more news soon !

ho ! this game doesn't have the same name in france, it's "tombi" here... actually "tonbâ" came from the word "bâton" who means "wooden stick" in french.

and like i said this is our first and really simple game, we are not going to sell it. it's more of a practice game for us, i don't think we are going to change the name.

and tombi (tomba) is a game we really like, we played it a lot. so it's kind of like a reference !

hi rundown, i'm glad you come here !

so the game is gonna be some kind of a brawler, survival with some smash bros vibes.
no health, you just can be ejected from the building. or eject ennemis.
with scoring.

johnny had already made a first test of the character. for now we can run, jump, hit, fall from the building...

here a page from my sketchbook, with a scan of animation and sprite i have to do. it's illegible... but that give you an idea !

@Sir Raptor : well, at first we're thinking about keep "bâton", but that just seems strange in french. and the word "TONBÂ !" is much like the sound of an impact, and that's more in the spirit of the game !
