WHY??? WHY DID YOU GO AND POST THAT LINK???  On a lighter note: this whole thing's got me thinking that I want more cheesy movies based off NES games. Mario and Mega Man just aren't enough. Oh, and I think it probably will be better than the Mario movie, but better in which sense? Well, we'll just have to see. And I feel a bit bad about all of this, because really, I don't think it's possible to make a non-cheesy Classic Series Mega Man movie, the game's are just to cheesy/happy themselves. An X movie would probably end up too emo for me to like (X being a sorta emo character), but man, a Zero movie (assuming it had a thorough art style makeover to make it less like anime and more realistic) could be serious, depressing, and really really good. That series was about as serious as MM ever got, and I though/think it's got potential. The trouble would be tieing all the games together (as it is one big 4-game story) and having it as something more than a string of epic boss fights. |
