Recently I saw the fantastic looking Particulars by See Through Studios at FreePlay and Pax Melbourne, and it got me inspired to look into my own little particle based game. It's called Bohring, and it's going to be a little physics based puzzler where your speed determines your probability of existing.

I've only just started on this, but here's a prototype little level to play around with. The basic gameplay premise is that the faster you move, as a quantum particle, the less likely you are to "exist". Try getting fast enough that you can pass through the wall in the middle.

I'm still in the design stage right now and finding my themes with this one, but I'd love to hear what you guys think!

I think you might have a memory leak in there somewhere, Firefox's RAM useage was going up about 1 MB per second.  There was also some stuttering/frameskipping going on.

Hey Udderdude. Firefox is stable for me at ~120MB of RAM usage. Could you give me more information about what version of Firefox you are using and what your graphics card is?

I'm using Pale Moon 24.0.2 32-bit, GeForce GTX 570

I just tested it in Firefox 24.0 and it doesn't have the same issue, so I'm guessing this is a Pale Moon specific problem.

Anyway, I like the gameplay concept, but you're going to have to add some more to it .. I think you realize this though.

Hey, the lead designer of Particulars here.

First, it's super-amazing that our game inspired you... that's simply... awesome.

Secondly, that's a really cool demo Smiley. Can't wait to see where it goes.
