Before I move to something new I wanted to provide an alternative to the original TrapThem. Personally I prefer the original TrapThem but I like puzzle-shooting too and it is an elegant derivation. As always my goal is to provide excellent gameplay and puzzle-solving time. The reason the game is created that quickly is because the majority of visual/audio content and the TrapThem-engine are reused.

Pretty nifty game , the getting started section is a bit long , and the intro cutscene fading in-out was pretty long , had a bit of trouble getting used to the controls , not really a good idea to have them change every time I change walls , better have them static , it's a really interesting mechanic , but I preferred trap-them classic , non-nonetheless , very good game with inventive mechanics , that made me and my dad cringe for more every level  Hand Thumbs Up Right

Initially I went with two buttons to control the movement since the motor only knows two modes: "motor clockwise" and "motor anticlockwise". It turned out to be just too tedious. Each time you want to move you need to translate the desired moving-direction to the corresponding motor mode in your head. This is why I decided it is something for the computer to take care of. You don't want to exercise your head just to perform a basic task. Now you just press the desired direction and the buggy drives towards it, or the adjacent one, if possible.

In any given situation you have the exact same control over it, only with less overhead. So in other words the controls change so that you can be static and don't have to wrap your head around each time. You will appreciate it once you see it that way.
