You can update your game but you can't be 100% sure the judges will get the latest copy. (That doesn't mean they won't do it, you simply just can't be sure ) |

There are a lot of games by people I know on there, and it's hard to say this without playing each and every game, so I don't want this to sound too negative, but the entries seem kind of underwhelming to me this year. I.e. there's nothing there that I feel "I definitely want to play/buy that", with the exception of Night Game.
I also wish they required gameplay trailers for each, that way we could get a better impression of what they're like. A screenshot with a description doesn't say much.

Requiring gameplay trailers for entrants is a little tricky to REQUIRE, but we may try to make it an optional link going forward. We're somewhat presuming that people have trailers on their official websites (which are linked) if they want to make them available. Also, we're hoping to get gameplay trailers from all finalists - Indiecade did that this year and I thought it was a good idea. Simon@IGF.
