Yes. It is. My cheap, little machine is that epic, that indie, if you will.
Although, it was only able to do this (among other things) after I got rid of the factory-installed VistAIDS on it.

Everything I need besides the vista search bar is in the compact auto-hide bar on the left. Pfft, we all knwo it is rockedtdock. Even my desktop has it, if you look deeply at it.

Curby, I love your background. Text in stickies deleted for privacy! The background is a recreation of a colorfield painting by Gene Davis. The icons to the left are always there--the ones to the right are just recent stuff that will eventually get moved elsewhere (as you can see, mostly games). I use Launchy instead of the start menu, but I have still to get used to it.

Mine is empty when I'm on top of things, and cluttered with downloads when I'm not. I usually leave it blank, but sometimes I set the background to a recent screenshot of the game I'm working on, for inspiration.
