Project Rain World and Moonman. Really liked the dynamic water stuff in Moonman and the procedural creature animation in Rain World.

Okay, the voting is now over. I've counted everything, twice, and I have the results here. In third place we have a tie between the impressive first-person rougelike Delver and Cloudface, the fabulous platformer with the sweetest animation you'll ever see. In second place we have another impressive looking platformer with the creepiest ever-smiling character you'll come across, it's Moonman! And in first place, leaps ahead of everything else, is the sneaky AI focused plaformer with neat physics animation, great looking environments and the most intense looking combat gif, it's ... Congratulations, JLJac! Your game has been voted as the best devlog of 2013 by the TIGSource community. Here is your trophy.

Thank you soooooo much guys! I had no idea the project was so well appreciated on the forums. I will work 500% harder in order to make sure that the game lives up to it. And I will also reduce my laziness in regards to answering questions and stuff now that I know that many are looking to my project for inspiration. I also want to thank my partner in crime, James, for making the project less of an navel gazing bedroom project and getting it out in the real world. Without that effort the project certainly wouldn't be anything like what it is today. I'd like to congratulate Eigenbom as well, he is making exactly the dynamic and diverse kind of project I wish I was doing whenever making 10 000 art assets that are all grey rocks just doesn't inspire me, and he knows I certainly haven't been afraid to try to back seat drive his project all the time. Awesome awesome project, man. And siskavards Cloudface is really one of my favorites too - it really displays all the strengths that traditional good old animation has that I'm not able to do in whatever I'm doing, which sometimes makes me a little envious. So much character and quirkiness! Congrats I haven't had much contact with Interrupt or the Devler devlog, but all of it I've seen I really appreciate, and I think the graphics and the dungeon generation are totally awesome. And the length of that devlog... That kind of endurance I could only dream about Congratulations

I caught Frog Sord on reddit and love the look. For some reason I just can't enough of a little frog with a big sord.

hmmm were talking "favorite devlog", right? not "favorite unrealeased game that has a devlog"? I'm biased of course, but the Project Rain World devblog has 57 pages of marvelous consistency and depth of content. One that I actually said to myself "wow this is really a fantastic devblog" is the one for OKHLOS: A very disgruntled group of people . Absolutely fantastic. They bring in so much outside content, discussing influences and art choices, etc. Tons of pictures. Its like watching a documentary of the game being made. I look forward to reading it every time. Well done lads. Thanks for such nice words! We've been kinda disconnected the last few weeks, and just realized what we miss. Congratz to the winner!
