Old post:

Increpare and I met up today and started working on something new, inspired by the raycasting experiments from TIGJam! There's still a lot to do, but we thought we'd share some early screenshots:

Should be out before Christmas, fingers crossed!

The graphical style somehow reminds me of Stunts.
Looks intriguing. Will keep an eye on this.

Looks great!  There are too few first-person 3D games in this community (as opposed to gaming in general).

Any hints on what the gameplay/story will entail?

Probably not a good idea to give anything away about the story, but gameplay wise - I suppose you could call it an adventure game. Sorta...

I like the colors, and this is a really intriguing project. The shading in your last post is really nice looking.

Are you going to use any of the lovely sorts of effects Increpare posted earlier? I loved the curved lines, static from ray placement, etc. They made the world feel alive in a way that hardware accelerated 3d often doesn't.

Cheers! Increpare and I are both working on something for Ludum Dare this weekend, so we probably won't come back to this till after that...

That was the original idea, but we've sorta gone in a different direction now so I'm not sure. Possibly we still will though...
