This is looking good. Simple but effective mechanic if executed right. Not a huge fan of the graphics though, would like to see something more stylized. Keep it up - love me a good arcade game Smiley

Once I'll get more levels done I'm planning to add a bit more details to the graphics. It's gonna be super cool Cool

Yo I've been thinking of sharing some kind of demo thing soon for you to play, anyone interested?

Lookd kind of similar to Death Race from 1976:

If I have a complaint, it's the size of the car. It's about as big as the humans. In your GIFs its actually hard to spot where the car is, plus that I have a feeling that it's kind of hard to hit people with such a small "projectile". Not to mention it'd probably feel cooler to run down two or three people at once.

Yeah the car looks bit different in the gifs, in the actual game there shouldn't be any problems spotting it. I did change the car's color to a brighter one some time ago. Who knows, I might change the size too.

Btw holy crap you are working on Velocity Stream Waaagh!

Looks like a lot of fun. Reminds me of Carmageddon. You should totally incorporate Mako in their somewhere.

Are those 3D light poles and buildings?
Any plans on making the game completely 3D, with voxel style graphics and adding an optional "behind the car"-camera? I know it's a lot of work, but that would be completely brilliant, IMO.

Yeah the poles and buildings are 3D. The program I'm using doesn't really support 3D much beyond those Smiley

I'm using Construct Classic btw http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Construct_(game_engine) I'm not a programmer, so the event sheet system in CC is lovely.
