Okay. I've decided. I want to get better at just releasing things and not worrying so darn much about it, so... I'm gonna do that. The Balding's Quest Milestone 2 Build will be released within a day or so! I wanted to do more for this release, but people should understand the game, being a Community Project, is necessarily a WIP, and that the Milestone 3 leg of development (unlike the previous milestones) will see frequent updates. So, all the tweaks/improvements/fixes I wanted to include in this version (and a lot more!) will be part of an update released very shortly after. My hope is that the decision to put this out earlier, imperfect as it is, will be a good trade off in that people will be able to get their dirty hands on it and start building some sweet, sweet momentum. (I'm counting on you guys!) P.S. I'll write Basic Instructions, an FAQ, and a Scripting Guide to go along with this release. Hooray!  P.P.S. Message me for a test build! I'll send it tonight, before I go to bed. (Sometime in the early AM, EST.) Then it's onward... to the future. |
