Hey all,

There might already be a thread for this, but I'm trying to pull together a list of resources for royalty-free / Creative Commons music. Not free music necessary - I have a budget to buy tracks (or potentially even hire a composer at some stage), but royalty-free / fair use is important.

Right now I'm trying to pull together some material for a game soundtrack and some marketing material.

With a little help from PixelProspector, here are the places I've been looking so far:

- Magnatune.com - I know Jon Blow famously used this site to source his music for Braid
- Audiojungle.net
- PremiumBeat.com
- dig.ccmixter.org
- Jamendo.com

Also skimming BandCamp and SoundCloud, but finding both a little overwhelming to browse.

Best results so far coming from Magnatune and Jamendo.

Any other good sources anyone can recommend?

At the risk of bumping my own thread, I should also add that I'm finding Spotify's "Related Artists" pretty invaluable too. Although more for seeking out a bunch of "sounds like" bands to reference for when I do some proper royalty-free hunting.
