@VDZ: haha, I'm not saying it was invincible, certainly I had trouble playing against some white or blue decks, but for the most part it came as a big surprise to my opponents. Also there is the element of luck of course.

Return to Ravnica spoilers, everyone! The set looks beyond fantastic! This is powerful! And it's a common! This is a lot of flexibility, and again, very strong. Return to Ravnica must have an insane limited environment. This even has potential in Legacy, I think... and would be fun in my cascade deck! (: Wowzers. Again, insane in limited! The guildmages are named after the new guildhalls, and are pure multicolor this time -- but make up for it with insane abilities, apparently. It's not insanely broken like Dredge, but that's a good thing. I like it well enough. And wow, that's a powerful card. A great card in dredge or self-mill, obviously.

I'm poor so I just play casually. Pretty fond of my mono-white Chalice of Life/Death deck.

I usually play budget too. My favorite budget decks all revolve around Kiln Fiend (my favorite card). And yeah, my mono-white life-gain deck loves that card! "High Life" is what I called it -- uses Rest for the Weary / Survival Cache for spell lifegain, Soul Attendant / Soul Warden / Suture Priest for some more consistent lifegain, Inquisitor Exarch / Knight of Meadowgrain / Ajani's Pridemate as creatures -- and it has a Rhox Faithmender, because why not.

Hell yeah, I was running Suture Priests and Inquisitor Exarchs for a good while just because they had the same life gain/burn duality going on. Just swapped those out for the newest incarnation where I'm running mainly 1-mana creatures. Haven't tested it too much yet.
My main lifegain strategy was to use Ichor Wellsprings/Glint Hawk to draw cards and shit out low-mana creatures and then play War Report. I would also Divine Offering my Wellsprings to get another draw and a little life. Probably not the most efficient strategy but I like the synergy.
It really is a great card, first time I ever caused someone to scoop without playing blue: working the combo of Chalice + Voltaic Key.
I hadn't even looked at Ajani's Pridemate, that is a pretty mean card for this deck. I might make a cat-flavored version, since I'm already running Pride Guardian.
I call mine "The Wrong Grail"
EDIT: Also, Unwinding Clock for multi-way battles. lol.

Yeah, RTR is looking pretty freaking fantastic. I had a group that I was drafting with that fell apart during Innistrad, but I think RTR is definitely going to cause it to start back up.

I've recently discovered the joys of Solomon Draft with Glyph (of these here forums). It's super duper fun! We should get a TIGer group going on Lackey, I still think...

Alright! Go an get yo' LackeyCCG programs set up, update your plugins (there's tutorials, but I can write a walkthrough if you need it) and I'll just open up a TIGSource server, and keep it open as long as I'm available.
The password shall be "yuminati".

Either there is an IP hidden in the depths of this thread, or I am missing some feature of this program.
EDIT: Okay, I see how it works now. I'll try and catch you next time around.

The room is currently up!
EDIT: Here's a tip! If you're going to swing by, you should be prepared for most formats -- have a few multiplayer-friendly decks, an EDH deck, and maybe a Planechase deck (just maybe!)

I was swarmed by bears, wolves, and eldrazi in that order. But I got to meet Oprah so it was worth it.

The Rakdos mechanic is kinda underwhelming. It's interesting that it isn't "Unleash 1". Also... I'm sure there will be some cool cards with it (as that's what WotC always seems to do -- make underwhelming mechanics cool), and it probably plays better than it looks. Still, it has no immediate wow factor, which makes me sad.
