The Arbitrary Game Jam #6 is happening starting Friday night of January 3rd (6 p.m. Central Time/Midnight turning Saturday GMT) for 72 hours, ending Sunday, January 5th. The theme will be announced 24 hours before, on Thursday. (Rules here.)

If you win, you get to host the next jam!

Additional rules for this competition are:

  • Create a multiplayer game (local multiplayer is fine)
  • Create a game without an objective (and, if you can do it, without enemies)

The themes are (choose at least one of the three):

  • Outsider
  • Drawback
  • Affection

Ludicious - Zürich Game Festival is a networking and exchange platform for independent game developers featuring a conference with workshops, presentations and exhibitions. It will take place for the second time in Zurich, Switzerland, from January 21 to 24, 2016.

The «Student Competition» will honor the best student project with the «Outstanding Talent Award», worth € 4'000. In addition to the «Student Competition» the «Ludcious Award» will be awarded to the winner of the «International competition». The competitions are free to enter and they are open until October 4, 2015 (23:59 CET).

The nominated games will be exhibited at Ludicious - Zürich Game Festival and the nominees will be invited to attend the festival in the heart of Switzerland.
