if i got a cent for every nudie woman "study" that has detailed nips and tits but rushed everything else i would buy myself an anatomy study book that has legs, hands and other stuff that is crucial for figure

would you try actually trying to point out the flaws in someone's study without blowing off steam in a way that makes it seem like you're above drawing boobs or something? you're making me not want to post in this thread

Not entirely sure this is the place for critique, but that study of a nude doesn't particularly emphasize the breasts to me. It's a fair study of shadows and light. Anyway, here's a sneaky investigator!

No titty shaming please. Everyone is killing it in this thread, everyone gets a pat on the back. Also heres a spacey painting I did for a cd template. And some stuffy stuff.

Generally theres scewed proportions, hands too short and legs are huge. May be explained if it was drawn from photo. Also i think you should draw muscles, joints and stuff even when they are not that visible, whats the point in study if you never leave your comfort zone?

i think its a great study. hands and feet and can be really difficult to get "right" and can take a lot of focus away from getting the whole form correct. I think JJ nailed it.
I keep staring at her left shin bone. Its my favorite part of that whole painting

i like the colors a lot but perhaps the background could be a little less saturated or less bright? for better differentiation between planes

I bought paint tool Sai today. I do not regret this decision! Not sure if this belongs in the doodle thread since it's a bit more "artsy" than my usual gribouillis.
