Damn good environment you got there, pen. I had something similar in mind while listening to this guy's music. Check out his Solastalgia album (free), see if you get the same vibe as I did.

Hi all! There's some amazing work in here! It's my first time posting in the art section, I've just about finished a new piece for a game two of my friends and I are making, Wyv and Keep. Still working on it a bit, but thought I'd go ahead and show it: (and a little step by step for anyone who likes that sort of thing ^^;; ) Bye!

Wyv and Keep: The Temple of The Lost Idol? Now where have I heard that one before? Zack & Wiki: Quest for Barbaros' TreasureI'm kidding, really. Good arts. If I have to say something, the perspective on the hole looks a bit off for some reason, which is weird because it's only in the final stages of the picture that this happens. Maybe it's the shadows throwing me off.

Thanks! Yeah, the shadows play a bit of a game on the walls of the pit, but I'm pretty sure the perspective is solid, it's just a simple 1 point looking down the pit itself. As far as that other game, that's funny! I hadn't heard of it. Partner games are all the rage now I suppose Luckily if anyone got the idea from anyone, it was them! Because Beau and I had the idea for the game way back near the beginning of our old group, Fallen Angel. Just finally doing it for real this time! http://www.jollycorpse.com/images/oldVSNew01.png

Wow, thanks! I didn't realize how many Fallen Angel fans were lurking about! Yes recently we put up that page, and I've also just started a facebook page, as I figured there ought to be some place to get nostalgic and commiserate! As this is the art section, perhaps I shall jump over to the announcements area and.. er.. announce!

Very cool! I like how the main octopus has a human face. Not sure how to progress on this any more. All the eyes I draw look wrong.

Jared, I really like that color palette! The shapes are interesting, too. Serene, those mustache jellyfish are strangely adorable. Noel, if you're having trouble drawing eyes, is it the placement or the actual shape? Also, the shading under the neck looks too flat compared to the rest of the bust. Don't forget that it should conform to the 3-dimensional shape of the object that it's drawn on. Here's another stab at digital painting. I needa learn more about brushes and lighting.
