Very, very early concept art for my future game. I want to make it in a year, but maybe I'll need 4 or 5 years,  Cave Story style.

I like it, minimalist yet colourful.

Thanks guys. Smiley
The game will have photography parts, but most of it will be a first person puzzler in an open world. Like a mix of some elements from "Dear Escher" (open world exploration) and "Hotel Dusk" (puzzles, interrogation, object finding). I've yet to do a GDD for it, but I think the mechanics are more or less set on that.

Lovely. At first I thought this was going to end up being something like Pokemon Snap.

Just an alien sword. The battery on it is what gives the blade a sudden burst of electric resistance, generating heat hot enough to disintegrate even Kevlar body armor! Said battery may produce the power, but it is also very limited. Research shows that holding the trigger on it for approximately seventeen seconds will waste the battery, while only one second is enough to supercharge the crystal blade. It is not rechargeable.

Very cool ANty. Don't take offense to this, but I like this more stylized approach than your realistic type art.

Thanks guys Smiley

I just wonder why since I barely can draw lineart and this style contains almost only lineart ^^

And the second thing is that I can't use this style everywhere Sad

A question: Do you think that this could use some shading? Maybe 2-tones shading like in some animes?

Yoyoyoyo.
I'm new here.
I may or may not be working on a game project with one Lan Auren.

Have some concept art.

Sorry for the garish background. It was an experiment.

@ANty - some shading might be cool. The first thing I thought of was Richard Scarry when I saw your picture. Here's a cool example.

I didn't recognize the guy's name, but damn, did I recognize that art! I had some of those books when I was a wee lad.
