Thanks! =) I also tend to enjoy looking at the sketches more than finished pictures. I think it has to do with being able to kinda see the thought process when looking at the sketch. Also, sketches often have more raw energy to them. Something's always lost in translation. Want to point out though. I didn't post the finished version. It was a progress picture (mostly me putting the black lineart and the colored lineart versions next to each other for comparisson). =) |

Ugh the jaggies! I would desaturate the rosy-red on the dude's face and mix some broken purples and or greens in there, right now it kinda looks like it was coloured with sharpies. Also the midvalue-midsaturated red on those straps-thingamachings is a very annoying colour, I'd suggest either desaturating a bit with some saturated details or just generally making them a little bit lighter and less intense assault-your-eyes-brown.
Also this is more of a drawing error but because of how you've positioned the dudes pendant holding arm right at where all the neck-chest plates meet and where all the lines direct to, it creates a horrible unreadable mess. You could probably fix it with colours by smoothing out some of the contrast on the chest area so the arms would pop out as being in front of it.
Same thing with the cape and the body, you lose almost all silhouette because everything's about the same value. I'd push some faux air perspective on the cape, that is tint it just a tad blue and make it lighter, even is just around the torso-hips area.
Also fix annoying tangent stuff like where the cape meets the dudes right foot guard thing at exactly the tip. Either move the cape up a bit so they don't meet or move it down so they overlap in a solid way.
