Looks great Ishi. I love the fog and the house silhouette. I've been trying to practice environments also and drew a little desert scene with huge green beans jutting out of the ground. Cheers! I like the atmosphere in your scene. The shading on the mountain feels a bit weird though - looks like a bevelled flat object because of the solid shading strips on each side. I think a solid colour would work better, let the brain fill in the mountain shape instead of trying to suggest it. A bit of fantasy-strength moonlight. The face is a bit of a cop-out.

This was a piece of concept art I was working on that didn't turn out to well so I made this out of it.

This was a piece of concept art I was working on that didn't turn out to well so I made this out of it. Oh that would make for really interesting visuals in a game. Imagine the world is low-res poly, but the nearer you come to something the more defined it becomes, enemies come alive etc. Kind of like LOD but used artistically instead of technically..

Yeah that would be sweet. It does look like a low poly model at the height of distortion.

You used the evolving image compression program to create that, didn't you?
