It's supposed to be an engineering bay for Dreadnoughts from Cortex Command. I has going to have loads of them but got bored and decided to just have the one. I think I did pretty well on the lighting and shadows. Any tips or comments?

I don't really see shadows here. I'd up the contrast. Actually, considering how close the light source is to the dreadnought, the lights and shadows should be hard. What you have here looks more like natural ambient light.

Annabelle: Everything about this picture is ACE, so lots of love from me there. (creepyjad go)
No, but for crits! These are nitpicks!
First, there are two skulls that strike me as kinda copypasted, which sucks a bit if you stare at the image too intensely.
Secondly, I see what kind of style element it is, but the guy's eye still feels like it's sitting just a wee little bit too <-wards, making him look a bit cyclops-like ): Which is a bummer because he's so damn badass, I want his CRUSHED EYE-ness to read well!
Otherwise it's dang awesome and I wish you could just tell me about how you use photoshop because I hate learning, I just wanna steal techniques ):

So for a game design unit at uni I'm art lead of the group, it's a zombie game. Here is some template art: A base and an example of many of the features that can be added (set as different layers). I want to use flash so that I can post up a 'Zombie Builder' using what I have and put it on my portfolio site (which I have to get around to making). I know that the lower ab/pelvis anatomy is off... but the zombie virus/juju magic/alien parasite makes naked zombies kiddi friendly.

These zombies look super awesome. I know that the lower ab/pelvis anatomy is off... but the zombie virus/juju magic/alien parasite makes naked zombies kiddi friendly. Let me get this straight, the zombie having a penis is not kiddy friendly... but having all of the zombies guts and bodily tissue fall out is? I am pretty sure at least 50% of all children see a real life penis every day. A large majority of the other 50% are probably also aware of what a penis is and looks like. I am also pretty sure that most children do not see grotesque amounts of blood and guts in real life... unless they are Doogie Howser. Sorry for ranting... I am just always saddened when I am reminded that in America violence is more socially acceptable than nudity.

Let me get this straight, the zombie having a penis is not kiddy friendly... but having all of the zombies guts and bodily tissue fall out is? Yes, that is how the world works I'm afraid . I too appreciate the irony/just plane wrongness of it all. Infact the gore would have been made more intense as a fun little private statement/joke except it's for a game not for an art showing. Sorry for ranting... I am just always saddened when I am reminded that in America violence is more socially acceptable than nudity. Actually I'm Australian, but the bizarre standing is still present over here. Kinda odd how some people think if you ask me, though me drawing a naked zombies is probably more bizarre. Oh vitruvian man was used as reference.

the lack of penis saddens me Penis' are over rated ask my ex-girlfriend. jjk. I like the perspective in the landscape picture for some reason. Though I think the green mound is really just disrupting the composition at the moment.

If it had a penis you would've gone "It has a dong *giggle*". Lovely kitty, though.
