I just wanted to throw this out there for pixel peeps who go back and redo their art over and over to get it right. Sometimes you think your sprite was perfect. Then you go make some more sprites and you gradually get better at pixel art. Then you check out the original sprite you had made and you realize it's crap compared to the latest one you just made. I don't know if anyone else suffers from this. Check out this example I just put up... http://intothisworldgame.blogspot.com/

Ooooo I like where that's going! Good job with the lighting so far. My friend, Ken Kopecky, and I have been making an art tool for a year and a half that let's you paint with shapes. Ken added trixels a few weeks ago, and it's crazy fun.

GIMME! Is there some blog I can follow or even some early builds? http://hexraystudios.com/Yeah that's our blog, thanks ANtY. We've finished Hexels v1.0 (finally) and we're gonna release really soon. Sometime in February, as long as we get a few Windows bugs figured out *fingers crossed*. Maybe I'll start an art thread for it Also, bumping this neat piece because my post started a new page moments after Hempuli posted it. I really like how the ink lines become more visible in the area where the lantern is:
