Something I did for an art assignment last year.

And, another art assignment comprised of roughly 120,000 dots, drawn over a period of 6 months with 40+ hours put into it. Bit of a crazy thing for me to do.

I had an odd flashback to the short about the man trying to get the two moon rocks/wart things together.

that one is 'Crater Face' which is an amazing cartoon. Weve been careful not to copy it. The only similarities at this point are an astronaut and some wild animation. The story is way different.

The mandala-like drawing is the width of A3 paper, so... around 30x30 cm. The dots were done on an A4 piece of paper, with about 3 cm cut off from the bottom, and then the actual dots are inset with a trim of 3cm also.

Subtle way to say that it lacks depth

Thanks!! I fixed it!

looks great, are you working with vectors?
everything is so neat and geometric, I've never worked with vector art, so when I see something like this where it seems to be neat and orderly while also straying away from traditional vector art, it's hard to discern it from raster.

Yes I am working with vectors. And thanks for the compliment [:
