Started as a mockup for something I want to work on, but mid-way I decided towards a slightly different direction.

Have another, albeit much simplier:  I'd say that the most important thing is to have a lot of spare paper to test the colours on, and to have small enough brushes. The rest is just, you know, getting better motorically to be able to get smooth areas of colour. You know I think this is much more compelling than the majority of your pixel art. I'd pursue this road more if I were as prone to complaining about hating my art as you, but then again maybe you hate this too. I enjoy the attention to detail, some colouring would be nice to see though. @torsktunga man those monsters are some dwarf fortress kinda scary. |

 Tribute to an adventurer that just died in dwarf fortress, after slaying a bloated freak in its desert mound lair, succumbed to infection in the doorway after taking a day to rest other injuries in the lair. God rest her soul.  kinda tiny cause I got carried away at tiny size and it was only a study-break piece of art. Microbio exam tomorrow, eep. |
