This was a piece of concept art I was working on that didn't turn out to well so I made this out of it.

Oh that would make for really interesting visuals in a game. Imagine the world is low-res poly, but the nearer you come to something the more defined it becomes, enemies come alive etc. Kind of like LOD but used artistically instead of technically..

Yeah that would be sweet. It does look like a low poly model at the height of distortion.

You used the evolving image compression program to create that, didn't you?

I was tweaking the filter in photoshop and thought it looked cool swinging it back and forward in the preview window. I just took screen shots of that preview window every few steps and animated it.

I really like this topic (currently on page 292 and going down), there are so many good artists here.

I wish I were half as good as you guys. But drawing is just a hobby for me. I tried to get into digital art, but couldn't get used to the "mechanical" and "non-natural" (IMO of course) movements of the pen of a tablet (although I consider digital art simply infinite and sublime)

Since you are posting, I'm going to post one too, but please don't be harsh...

This is my favorite, only because it means a lot to me...

My roommate hand paints all of her comic pages and they always look soo nice!  I wanted to try painting a comic just for fun.  So here is my first shot. (watercolor and gouache 5x9)

Awww, I expected a hobbit attempting to steal a pocketbook in this one. The watercolor's very good.
