sayyyyy you don't live in Austin, do you? I can't quite tell what that's painted on, but there's a street artist around here who's up pretty big and has Felix pieces all around town.
Nope, I live in Alberta. The Texas of Canada. It's painted on just a regular canvas. I respect that mans taste in good cartoons. Made a logo I think I finally like. Besides the quality of how it's drawn I like the design. I'll likely draw it a bunch and make it look as pretty as I can.

Made a logo I think I finally like. Nice! The S in your avatar is kinda hard to read though.

Just finished this one up, for an intro story scene - let me know what you guys think, especially any constructive criticism (I'm mostly a programmer but trying to improve my art chops):

LOLCUTOUT
looks ok. I'd go touch up the bits where the filter has raped it though, like where the pink leaked into the flower or w/e in the hair. Trying to avoid instant -1000 for ponys.
--------------
Kinnas: looking nice, kinda rough but that's more or less the point. I'm pretty confused why these bugs are leaving light trails though. Nice energy.
--------------
QuadrupleA: Looks a little blobby, and the lighting is off on the woman's torso (flip it a few times and look at the shape it conveys). Not the kind of art I'm used to seeing so not sure where else to crit other than doing more construction before painting and refining your edges a little more.

@Geti: Thanks. Yeah, I could definitley play with brush edge sharpness next time around, get things a little crisper.
@Jackson31: Not sure where the image will get used, but seems like it could use a contrasting color in there somewhere, outside the purple spectrum. Ponies.

From our Toronto Game Jam game Diluvium, where I spent the whole time drawing ALL THE ANIMALS. Some of those were made by Aliceffekt (Moogle, Pikachu and Companion Cube), so is the logo.

@kamac: Shading seems a little off somehow; maybe highlights in the wrong places, like on the chest plate? Hard to tell what direction the light is coming from. Head shape and stuff give it a distinct artistic style (on your avatar too) that's kinda cool.

The light direction is totally inconsistent. The light on the arms if coming from the viewer, the head has two different sources of light, there is also light coming from underneath to hit only the jaw, and the lighting on the armour is just sort of splotched on without any regard to source or shape. It would make a huge difference just to go back and redo all the shading with a single light source in mind.
