To upload pics, press F9 in game to take a screenshot, then use a place like imageshack or photobucket to upload it.

Anybody got this working on Windows 7? I hear talk of gamemaker disliking Nvidia cards or something so maybe a driver upgrade is in order.
Anyone? I love this game but I dislike turning on my desktop.

That said, piranha shouldn't just be interested in the Spelunker. If I toss a stunned caveman into the water, then by God those little buggers ought to attack his dumb ass for a change.
That would indeed be so cool! Thirded. Again. Fourthed! Good idea. I don't need to do this, because if Derek wants to add it, he can. anyway, Fifthed!

Another bug I found: I pushed a pushable block until it hit the wooden part of a ladder, where it made sort of a platform, a makeshift step. I used a rope to come to the open side of the whole thing and then I walked over it. I fell down into it at the second tile break and game over. Sorry, no screenshots. Map: key: E=regular block R= push block, |=rope. L=
EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE E | < Spelunker enters here, pushes push block into place, falls through E | EREEEEEE nonexistent crack between R and the E on right of R E | EEEEEE E | EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

:D Hey, 100 deaths and level 5 ain't so bad. I think my first feedback was "So, yeah, it's awesome, but the music should like, change. Because hearing that tune OVER AND OVER is kind of grating." You'll get there. Fourthed! Good idea. Ossum.

man, I'm still trying to get the hang of this (still haven't gotten past level 2 fsgsdgsdg) but I have to say, this game is awesome. it's a lot of fun, especially in the beginning, because you don't know what to expect. the fact that the levels are different every time makes this even more awesome; in fact, I'm having a really hard time believing that this was made in game maker. great work man.

I love stealing from shops and getting away with. Especially the kissing parlors, after you get the kiss.
Oh, and the seemingly useless dice in the craps parlor. :D

Me. Also, yay for Derek liking piranhas eating cavemen idea! Shopkeepers too? And yetis and kali priests for custom levels? Or just one of those two so that we can have one that's immune to piranhas but essentially do the same thing? Maybe I should stop now?

Funnily enough, you can. Just double-tap X. That would have been very handy to know. Still a prompt like that would be useful for Spelunky newbs like me.

On a similar note about the piranha, the man-eating plant should also be able to eat the shopkeeper. It's pretty impractical most of the time but there have been a few instances where I could have lured him into one.
I would like this idea quite alot if it turned the man-eating plant into one of the super huge boss enemies. I don't know what it's attacks would be though (maybe it could spit out skeletons?)

I'd think that the plant eating a shopkeeper would only work for when the shopkeeper is angry. I've seen plants wander right through stores on their own, especially in the black market.

Actually this brings up a point. Shouldn't shopkeepers attack animals like plants and frogs and spiders? I mean, I dunno about you, but I wouldn't want a spider as big as me (or even bigger) in my store.
