Hi, I was doing some research in order to choose a framework for a js game. I like the createjs suite, but some other frameworks like melonjs seem easier and it feels like they provide more tools fot a platformer game (loading of maps using tiled http://www.mapeditor.org/ ...)
So my question is, has any of you used createjs for a platformer game and what are your experiences. If you think another framework is better suited for this type of games feel free to point me to that one.

Thanks for reading and any help you can give me

I used CreateJS for a small project about a year ago and found the API to be quite nice. Performance was great on desktop and not so great on mobile (this situation has probably improved over the past year).

I'd take a good look at Phaser if you plan to use JS to make a game. It's specifically tailored for making games and it has built in support for Tiled maps. I haven't used it myself but I plan to for my next JS project.
