Made the first environmental hazard element today - smashing doors. The video also showcases some minor tweaks: - camera now shows where you go by being offset slightly in this direction - a placeholder checkpoint obelisk - death screen - dying now puts the game in slow motion for a moment

I definitely like the new name. Are the spawners going to be destructible / have a way to shut them down or are they permanently going to spawn enemies in that area?

They will most likely be destructible, but I have to discuss with the artist what they will actually be. I think crystals that you can crack and shatter would work.

Oh, that a neat idea. Maybe not for the enemy blood, but for the player (and bosses maybe?) since he already 'bleeds' chromatic shards when hit. Thanks!

Concepts for the protagonist! We ended up choosing the third one on the right, the rest will probably end up as bosses in the game.

Progress has been slow recently because I started working on sounds and searching for, collecting and cutting samples is really time consuming. If the game is top-down, why are you not drawing your conceptart as top-down? Nothing else matters really for it.

Thanks guys The second one on the left might actually be the only one that doesn't end up as a boss in-game. But I think it might still work as something else.

New attack time! If any of you played any of my games before you should recognise this, since I've been putting this weapon EVERYWHERE. The mace now shoots huge steel bolts that impale enemies. Sorry for the Steam chat sounds in the middle of the movie, but I only noticed when I uploaded and it was already my fourth take so
