Calling all developers!
This October, VRcade will present the Nightmare Machine, the world's first public, full-motion, multi-user, virtual reality haunted house in Seattle. We would like to also take this opportunity to begin our developer relations program. All summer we will be hosting VRcade Nightmare Machine game jams where developers get to play with VRcade toys and make short, terrifying VR experiences to be shown to the many victims of the Nightmare Machine.
If you have made content in Unity or for the Rift, sign up. If you need a crash course in development, we can help. If you are an artist, designer, musician, writer, level designer, etc., come down and join a team. The top experiences will be chosen for prime time this October.
If you are not in Seattle, you can still make content! We will handle the conversion of your Unity/Oculus project to VRcade. We will give you the guidelines that you must work within and you can build around them remotely.
Spaces are limited. If you are serious about making some truly terrifying content on an awesome new VR platform that is unlike any other, email
[email protected].
