Welcome to the world of psyscrolr, a tale of a young man outcast from his society by gaining powers he never wanted or had. The Scrolr, which is the main character, must find his way through the beautiful landscapes while solving puzzles, fighting enemies, and uncovering the truth of his world while being hunted by the Magi; a sect of wizards who wish to put an end to the Scrolr's new powers. Utilizing the Wii U GamePad, interact with the world directly as you make contact from your world to the Scrolr's world. Move objects, shoot fireballs, block hits... the touch is your greatest weapon. Team Info

Sounds interesting. Is this going to be a big open-world-ish game like Zelda, or will it be more linear? Will there be RPG elements or any elements of progression?
EDIT: I like the art, too, though the green ground is a bit weird (since the blocks just appear to be floating in the middle of it).

Game will be Stage based like Mario. During each stage, a mural section will show up explaining more history/foreshadowing, as well as a mid-boss. Puzzle sections will come up in between the combat, allowing you to take time and enjoy. Each Stage will have a boss that is a combination puzzle/combat.

dang, this looks really good. the player character doesn't quite seem to fit in with the rest of the art stylistically, is this intentional, to highlight his 'otherness'?

Nah all the humans look that way!
cool, look forward to seeing them. the scarf looks awesome - is that a pre-made animation, or procedural?

I suggest you chose one light direction, and stick with it for all graphics, so all things are lit from the same angle. You've got discrepancies here and there. The look of the game will be more coherent if you have a unified "lighting direction" in your sprites. Great scarf physics bro.
