I played the beta and honestly... I have no idea why people are comparing it to borderlands or even Halo. Truthfully, you can't really compare this one to another. It is pretty unique in its own way, it really does have a lot of potential. Just the beta alone was alot of fun to me.

Just started playing with a friend yesterday and we're liking it a lot so far. Playing on the PS4 and I'm still just in awe at how gorgeous everything looks.

Played for like 10 hours total and let me just say...

Single player is bad. Beyond bad.

Rest of the game is good. Super good.

Competitive modes are balanced (surprisingly) and everything is fun.

I think it's been pretty fun so far. The narrative isn't super compelling but it plays well.

I've been finding the single player a bit repetitive so far.
It's always run to this location and kill this guy/survive this attack. I know that's pretty much the same as what halo was like but at least halo threw in a few different objectives. Also in halo there always felt like an urgency behind your actions due to the story, in destiny everything feels a bit disjointed as you skip and jump between mission objectives and planets. Plot points are explained in a short intro before the mission starts and then never mentioned again.

Other than that, I'm still loving shooting things in the face and constantly upgrading my gear.
