2014 is looking like the return of the epic-cool platformer, alright. Here's another delightful title I'm ( looking forward to / fuck my wallet!! ); this one inspired by Sonic, but with obviously different pacing and focus, Freedom Planet.

It's supposed to be released on Steam on July 19th, and their site has a free demo...

I was hired after the Kickstarter to revamp the enviromental art. So its great to see people getting excited about its arrival. Its the first proper game I've worked on that is finally seeing a release.

I remember when the project was a straight up clone of sonic complete with rolling ... glad it have a souls of its own in addition, ... and the souls of ristar, rocket knight and all the forgotten goodness
