There's a pretty awesome Game Jam taking place in a few months, run primarily by https://twitter.com/mtrc, featuring a whole bunch of talks by some very interesting people streamed on Twitch on the first day.

He's started announcing the speakers, of which I am one (so I confess a slight vested interest in the jam...) - I think they're all going to be listed on the tumblr: http://procjam.tumblr.com/

Dunno if it'll be in time, but I'm hitting some strides in Mystery Adventure Fangame...

I haven't looked much into procedural generation. Perhaps now would be a good time to study up.  Hand Pencil

This is a very nice opportunity to focus on procedural generation. Always wanted to try this, but never quite got very far with it…

ProcJam starts tomorrow, who else is going to participate?
The talks alone make it interesting, I really want to hear what Mark Johnson has to say.

Thanks Smiley. I've just finished up my presentation in a fevered rush of generating worlds, taking screenshots, writing about them, and repeating. Now to sleep...

Pretty cool, I like the colors it comes up with.

I'll probably be submitting my entry tomorrow.

That is most impressive, I'm definitely going to give it a go the next time I work on something that needs tiles.
