vagrant story

really awesome art style and color palette. game itself is jank tho

vagrant story is perfect in every conceivabl way

C.A you beat me to it, I was going to call blasphemy on this guy lol, Vagrant Story is far from jank its a RPG masterpiece...its the Citizen Kane of RPGs...not only my fave PS1 game but favorite game of all time.

if by jrpg masterpiece u mean fighting a boss, getting rekt the first time cos u don't know what enemy type it is, going back and grinding on THE APPROPRIATE enemy to power up ur weaps until u can actually do more than 1 damage to said boss (and if u fight any other enemy type ur weaps actually get weaker), then giving up because u've got better things to do with your time, sure

i only got as far as i did because the art is god

basically in vagrant story you need at least 3 main weapons (1 for every 2 enemy types). u just didnt understand the weapon leveling system and tried to paly it like a normal jrpg i.e. why u need 2 git gud
