I thin k it should be a sword with big swish marks behind as it waves back and forth.
(A lazer sword)
People will understand the concept even if it is only literal.
If you really only have guns and not lazer swords, it still works, because if you shoot a lazer blaster with a really fast rapid fire, guess what?? It does not look like bullets any more, THE LIGHT BLUR WILL MAKE THEM BLUR TOGETHER AND IT LOOKS LIKE A BEAM. This is why this icon is a multi-purpose idea and it will work for your game and many other games.

If you do not like the lazers idea then you can use my other idea which is to use the A/S/L for the phrase and you flash it up in pictures. Like this:  You could also make it styleized. But the more recognizeable you make it (even if styled) then the more you have an educational game as a side bonus and I think that is always good because it helps ethics in games to put education in your game. |
