Hello fellow devs! Unnamed Fiasco is a 2D local multiplayer game I've been working on for the last two or three months with some friends.

The core ideia is that everyone starts the match unarmed and there's some sort of resource gathering phase to collect three shards of the same color and enable your weapon. There are three shards colors that enable weapons with different properties (bullet speed, damage and ammo). Also, it's possible to get a shield that protects against specific weapon types, which forces the other players to discard their current weapon and get a different one to be able to destroy the shield. This adds some strategy to a rather frenetic gameplay.
 
We also have some other nice features, like various game itens and a clone mode where everytime you die and respawn a clone repeating your actions of the previous life is created to help you. We will discuss these features soon in the next posts.

  • Clones: when you die, a clone with your past incarnations' movements and actions will appear to help you
  • Collect three shards of the same color to activate your weapons
  • Use itens to reinforce yourself or weaken your opponents. Itens include weapon disable, stun, golden gun, shields and more
  • Minute madness mode: Random special effects like low/high gravity, inverted controls, ping-pong physics and much more are enabled when this mode is on to completely change the match pacing

Added a feature list. This will be constantly updated with our new features and we'll try to post our roadmap for new features too!

Just finished a new game mode: Police Chase. In this mode, each player has it turn with the golden gun to chase the other players. Each kill is worth two points and the players that survived the round get a point. We still need some play testing to validate this mode, but it seems fun!

Hi guys and girls! It's being around three months and Unnamed Fiasco has been greenlit on Steam!!!

The game has evolved a lot these past months and soon I'll update the devlog with all the news!

We have a great new artist, David Siqueira, who is giving a nice new look to the game. Here's a preview of a new level, some new characters and UI:

Long time with no updates, but the game is getting close to be finished!

We've been working on some single player challenges, so the player should have something to do even without friends to play multi player. This challenges are a collection of skill-based and puzzle minigames. For example, some challenges ask you to find the shortest path to the end and avoid obstacles on the way. Click on the image below to see a preview.
