Hey, does anyone know any easy tool for scraping an entire topic (+ images to disk)? I'd like to backup the Anodyne devlog as well as the Even the Ocean devlog for personal journaling purposes. I could just write this myself but I'm sure something exists. Maybe the forum software even provides something to do this easily.

edit: oh, I just saw printer-friendly mode - any way to make pictures display in that?  otherwise i could just write some wget magic ig uess but it would be nice to be able to just view things like html.

Maybe just use your browser's save function? That way you get the entire page source and a copy of all images.

1. Open the page you want to save
2. Ctrl+S -> Enter

Should be easy enough for 35 pages.

It can be trickier to get a complete local copy with wget. According to this SO it should be enough with the -p and -k flags. But the css broke for me in my local copy.

ah, yeah I think it's probably best to just use the browser's built in. doing this 100 times isn't bad for the payoff.

there are many extensions for browsera that embed multiple pages for a topic in a single one, i used one to compile some forum threads, but required some magic xpath trickery to work right, then i exported therm to singlepage html, which embeds images and shit within the html code
