I'm a guy who'd love to compose music for any kind of videogame.

Not much else to be said really.  Shrug

sorry to say but unless you're exceptionally good or buddies with a developer you're sool
there's probably literally a thousand capable and willing composers for every artist or programmer in indie games right now

yup, so learn to code or draw or design or something else or make sure your music is really
fucking
good

that's what i did~

except for the first one, i can't code for shit

anyway. if you really just want to make music for video games just make music on your own for years. if you haven't spent literally five to ten years making music then you're probably not where you should be expecting to get music gigs, honestly

this is from actual personal experience here, as i have, in fact, been making music for literally over ten years now and have just barely scratched the surface

I could even compose for some half-crappy flashgame, I just wanna try to use my music in a context. But thanks for the honest advice!  Smiley

Hey Wobblah! I would recommend linking some of your music to let people see what you can do. And in my opinion if your passionate enough about it you'll find a way to do it!

If you are having trouble finding a game to work on, game jams are great for trying out new things.

Best of luck to you!  Coffee
