...in my holistical view of games, animation IS gameplay...
Yeah, good point, it's interesting how the animations will affect perceived gameplay or the feel of the character. If the physics of the animation are well executed and timed properly with the physics of the engine, the game and character will feel more grounded than if the exact same engine had very limited animations. We feel the weight in how the hitbox operates, but we also feel the weight in how the sprites move.

OK, the second pre-alpha engine is done!
Added to this engine are: -Vaulting -Vault Fail -Dynamic camera -Land on object -Destroy object
